Which starter did you choose?

In the 3rd Generation, we have two sets of starters to choose.

In Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald we have the choice of either:

• The Grass-type, Treecko
  
• The Fire-type, Torchic
  
• The Water-type, Mudkip

And in FireRed and LeafGreen we have these choices:

• The Grass-type, Bulbasaur (who is also part-Poison)
  
• The Fire-type, Charmander
  
• The Water-type, Squirtle

Vote for which starter you picked in R/S/E and which one you chose in FR/LG in the poll and give reasons.

In RSE I always go with Treecko cause it's my favorite of all 3 of them and overall my favorite Pokemon. I think he looks completely badass (pardon my French) and I fell in love with it's design and how cool it is.

In R/S/E I always pick Mudkip cos it's my fave Hoenn starter, not to mention it becomes part-Ground when it evolves, which can be a big help against Wattson's Electric-types.

Also, it only gets a single weakness to Grass when it evolves, making it have a good defensive typing. And the meme totally hooked me onto Mudkip, cos I do liek 'em.
