How often do you restart Pokemon games?

The title basically says it, how often do you restart your Pokemon games?
I never usually restart, cos I often have prized Pokemon resting in my PC box and I'm one who loves collecting Pokemon. The only time I restarted was on Platinum, mainly cos I was disappointed with my starter choice.
How about you guys? Discuss!
